The influence of the parameters of complex heat treatment on the properties of sheet glass is investigated. On a qualitative and quantitative level, the influence of each parameter on the quenching stresses is assessed. The results obtained are recommended to determine the effect of the hardening temperature, heat transfer coefficient, glass thickness and the duration of intensive cooling on the properties of hardened glass. Mechanisms for drawing glass rods used in the optical industry are considered. Draw mechanisms are classified according to the type of gear used to convert the rotary motion of the actuator into the translational motion of the draw bar. The main reasons leading to the unevenness of the pulling speed and a decrease in the quality of the rods obtained are revealed. Il. 3, bibliography: 2 titles.

The dependences of the elastic properties of the material based on natural wollastonite on the sintering temperature, which is important in the case of a narrow sintering interval, have been studied. It was found that with an increase in the sintering temperature, the modulus of elasticity increases to 7.3 x; 104 MPa, and Poisson's ratio changes insignificantly and is 0.22 - 0.28. The influence of the chemical composition of the bond on the properties of the abrasive tool made of electrocorundum is considered. Compositions of ceramic bonds before and after tool firing are analyzed. Tab. 3, bibliography: 5 titles.

A computational model is proposed for the volume fraction of a glass bond in an abrasive ceramic tool, according to which glass interlayers between abrasive grains are composed of spherical particles, and the shape of the grains is approximated by various bodies of revolution: spheres, cylinders, and two paraboloids docked around the circumference. The use of the model makes it possible to estimate the minimum amount of glass bond, at which no contact bridges are formed between the grains, as well as the thickness of the glass interlayers between the grains. The diffusion processes occurring at the interface between willemite glass-crystalline glaze and quartz glass-ceramics during firing have been studied. The formation of a transitional contact zone between the glaze and quartz glass-ceramics was experimentally established, which ensures the formation of a strong adhesion of the coating to the substrate. Using the method of layer-by-layer etching and X-ray fluorescence analysis, the length of the contact zone and the concentration distribution of the components in it were determined. The coefficients of interdiffusion of potassium and silicon ions for glaze firing conditions have been calculated. Tab. 2, ill. 3, bibliography: 9 titles.

The technological properties of industrial compositions of enamels used for enameling of oil country tubular goods have been studied. The characteristics of the corrosion process of steel under a layer of enamel coating are given, with the help of which it is possible to optimize the process of its firing. A technological method has been developed for the regeneration of wastes of chemical polishing of crystal products, the use of which will allow to solve not only environmental problems of environmental pollution, but also to reduce the consumption of red lead. The resulting complex lead-containing material can find wide application in the synthesis of low-melting glasses and glassy coatings. Il. 1, bibliography: 7 titles.

The phenomenon of self-propagating crystallization (SC) is realized in the synthesis of ashes on the basis of waste from the Kansk-Achinsk basin and the possibility of using SC as a technological method is shown. The effect of the addition of fluorite, which was introduced into the charge in order to enhance the exothermic effect during sintering in the SC mode, was studied. It is shown that the use of the SC phenomenon makes it possible to reduce the duration and overall temperature of the process. Il. 3, bibliography: 5 titles.

The results of experimental studies on the choice of the optimal characteristics of diamond drills and modes of machining holes with a diameter of 1 - 70 mm in brittle solid non-metallic materials: quartz, ceramics, glass, glass, are presented. To obtain experimental-mathematical models at the screening stage, a randomized experimental design was used - a semi-replica from a full-factor experiment 23, and at the main stage - a second-order orthogonal compositional plan of type 35. The diamond drilling process was optimized using the simplex method. Comparison of the calculated values ??and experimental data showed a good adequacy of the results obtained. The physicochemical and technological properties of soda ash from nepheline raw materials of improved modification and its effect on the processes of charge preparation, silicate-glass formation, as well as the properties of the glass produced have been studied. It has been established that in terms of its physicochemical, technological properties and storage behavior, soda of improved modification belongs to the category of "heavy", is a promising alkali-containing material and can be recommended for successful use in the production of glass containers, high-quality tableware and sheet glass, including decorative float glass with special properties.
