    Dependences have been established that characterize redox interactions in the production of amber and brown glasses using sodium sulfate with an excess of a reducing agent or blast-furnace slag in the mixture. All interactions and the resulting coloration are linked to the partial pressure of oxygen. The boundaries of obtaining stable amber glasses have been determined. The reduction potential of the charge, detected by the oxidimetric method, can be expressed in terms of the partial pressure of oxygen and is recommended for determination for colored and colorless glasses.     The influence of some additives on the equilibrium of the valence forms of iron is considered. It was shown that tin and carbon reduce iron more strongly than fluorine. The redox potential of the glass matrix affects the equilibrium of the valence forms of iron significantly less than additives that correct the spectral characteristics of the glass.     The issues of expanding the range and increasing the volume of production of ceramic wall materials are considered. The physicochemical and technological properties of zeolite-containing clay raw materials have been studied. It is shown that with certain methods of prescription and technological nature, it is possible to produce ceramic wall materials that meet modern construction requirements in terms of strength, frost resistance, and colors. It is noted that the available reserves of zeolite-containing clay raw materials make it possible to significantly expand the raw material base for the production of coarse ceramics.     Low-melting colored glasses of the ZnB 2 O 4 - NaPO 3 system for decorating glass with a spreading temperature of 550 ° C have been obtained. Their basic physical and chemical properties have been investigated. Experiments were carried out in industrial conditions, which gave positive results when decorating sheet glass by silk-screen printing, followed by firing at temperatures above 550 ° C.     The effect of binders on the quality of paint coatings formed on the basis of lead-free enamels and meeting the requirements of TU RB 100029049.030 has been studied. It has been established that enamel compositions can be prepared using a 20% solution of oxyterpene resin in turpentine and a 2% alcohol solution of Na-CMC grade 7MF. The use of an aqueous solution of dextrin as a binder leads to a deterioration in the quality of enamel coatings - a change in color, a loss of gloss, the appearance of a coke.
