The features and algorithms for controlling the thermal operation of a glass-making furnace are considered. The analysis of methods for setting and controlling the parameters of temperature control in the working space is carried out. The results of calculating the specific fuel consumption, as well as the maximum temperature of the roof and the surface of the molten glass and their location along the length of the furnace, depending on its productivity. The expediency of using a mathematical model in the construction of an automatic control system for the thermal operation of a glass-melting furnace is shown. Il. 2, bibliography: 11 titles.
