Calculations of direct solar transmission were carried out according to various standards for several types of glasses and an estimate was made of the degree of discrepancy between the obtained data depending on the optical properties of the glasses. Tab. 1, ill. 2, bibliography: 2 titles.

The possibility of obtaining glass granulate as an intermediate product for glass-ceramic foam materials based on widespread silica components (marshallite, diatomite, flask) at temperatures not exceeding 900 ° C has been established. It has been shown that the use of glass granules with a mass content of glass phase of more than 80% makes it possible to obtain a glass-ceramic foam material with a density of up to 250 g / cm ³. On the example of type E borosilicate glass, an assessment is given of the possibility of replacing boric acid in the batch composition of glass with colemanite. The processes occurring during glass melting at the stages of silicate and glass formation are considered. The influence of colemanite on the indicated processes has been studied. Prospects for the use of reference materials on the best available technologies produced by the sectoral technical working groups of the European Bureau for Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control in the domestic practice of producing ceramic products are considered. The European experience, summarized in reference materials, can be taken into account both in the development of regulatory documents and in the practice of designing and operating enterprises, which will improve the energy efficiency of production and reduce the burden on the environment. The morphological features of powders of the same chemical composition in the system Al ₂ О ₃ - ZrO ₂ - СеО ₂ with different sequence deposition of components. The schemes used for the preparation of precursors of this system make it possible to obtain powders of a given chemical composition with a high degree of completeness of deposition and with individual particle sizes of about 20 nm. In this case, the morphology of the synthesized powders, their agglomeration and porous structure depend on the conditions for obtaining precursors. Tab. 3, ill. 3, bibliography: 8 titles.

A qualitative analysis of the movement of an individual gas bubble through the transitional layer of soil and cover enamel under the influence of the surface tension gradient has been carried out. The speed of movement of gas inclusions according to the thermodynamic mechanism and the mechanism of film overflow is estimated. Il. 6, bibliography: 1 title.

An increase in the dimensional resistance of diamond wheels for machining is shown by optimizing the hardness of the bond, choosing a diamond powder with optimal strength and concentration. New wheels on a bond with hardness HB105 - 110 with diamond powder AC50 - AC65 and with a concentration of 100 - 125% were recommended for industrial use. Il. 4, bibliography: 4 titles.
