Some features of the structural instability of clay raw materials and its influence on the properties of ceramic products are considered. The influence of autoclave treatment on the dispersion processes of clays and kaolins has been studied. It is shown that the directed formation of the properties of materials at the stage of preliminary preparation will reduce the degree of non-equilibrium of the processes during firing and will lead to a better quality final product.
