The processes of joint hydroxide deposition of nickel (II) and zirconium (IV) with the production of nickel zirconate have been investigated. During the subsequent heat treatment of hydroxides at a lower temperature compared to powders, stabilized nickel zirconate with a stable crystal lattice is formed, in which Zr 4+ ions are replaced by Ni 2+ ions to obtain a colored connections. This serves as a prerequisite for the synthesis of stable pigments with a perovskite-like structure. Tab. 1, ill. 3, bibliography: 6 titles.
