The effect of fluxing ingredient DULAPIX Ca on the flow property of majolica slip

The use of unconventional electrolyte DULAPIX Ca in the process of liquefaction of the majolica mass allows to reduce the moisture content of the slip. The degree of moisture reduction in the slip depends on the hardness of the water: the higher its hardness, the higher the electrolyte content in the slip. Therefore, in the production of majolica slip, it is necessary to control the water hardness and use softened water. Tab. 1, ill. 1.
