Monitoring of the homogeneity of heterogenous materials

The analysis of the most convenient methods for ceramics technology to control the homogeneity of the distribution of components in mixtures and porosity (or dissimilar components) over the volume of the product material is carried out. A fairly rigorous and simple method for assessing the homogeneity of mixtures (samples) based on a hierarchical approach and statistical assessment of the accuracy of determining the concentration of a key component in mixture samples has been proposed.
