The synthesis of nanodispersed powders of zirconium nitride ZrN using exothermic reactions initiated by microwave radiation has been studied. The obtained ZrN powders were studied using X-ray phase analysis and scanning electron microscopy. The results obtained showed the possibility of synthesizing nanodispersed materials by exothermic reactions when heated by microwave radiation.
