The possibility of using silicate coatings as protective for bismuth-containing powder materials in order to expand their operational properties is considered. A method for pretreating the surface of powder steel for enameling by borating is proposed, which makes it possible to obtain high adhesion strength in the composition of the powder material - silicate coating.
