The operational characteristics of the protective coatings of pipelines are analyzed. It is shown that the most promising and durable is glass enamel coating. The results of measurements of microhardness and impact strength of enamels are presented. Recommended compositions of enamels to protect the surface of steel pipes from corrosion.
