Colorimetric characteristics of color single-layer enamels

Compositions of single-layer glass enamels have been developed, which make it possible to obtain a wide range of colors of coatings for steel products with a sufficiently good surface quality. Various dyes have been tried. The properties of coatings, such as chemical resistance, adhesion strength, gloss and heat resistance, have been studied; the temperature range of their firing has been determined, averaging 670 - 740 ° C. The colorimetric characteristics of single-layer enamels have been calculated. The resulting enamel coatings can be used in mass production. Tab. 1, ill. 2, bibliography: 2 titles.
