The processes occurring during the impact destruction of the soil enamel coating on steel are considered, the influence of the method of metal preparation, its thickness, the type of enamel and its thickness on the impact strength of the enamel coating on a flat surface is evaluated. Regularities of destruction of enamel coating from impact for "internal" and "external" destruction have been investigated.
