Some features of the mechanism of glass formation of basalt melt are presented. The influence of the characteristics of the basalt melt on the quality of continuous fibers is shown. The advantages of the multi-station technology for the production of continuous basalt fiber have been substantiated. Tab. 1, ill. 5, bibliography: 9 titles.
