The results of an experimental study on the generation of X-ray radiation using a ceramic piezoelectric transformer installed in a vacuum are presented. X-rays were emitted by operating a piezoelectric transformer at a resonant frequency of about 20 kHz. In the measured X-ray spectra, a peak of the characteristic radiation of a titanium target with an energy of 4.5 keV is observed against the background of bremsstrahlung. The maximum energy of X-ray bremsstrahlung reaches 12 keV. This means that electrons are accelerated in vacuum in the field of a piezoelectric transformer to an energy of at least 12 keV
