The results of measuring infrared spectra and differential thermal analysis of a ceramic glaze frit are presented. The data obtained confirm the two-phase nature of the investigated frit and the presence of B 3+ ions in it, which are in triple and quadruple coordination. The presence in the investigated frit of two phases - a rigid silicate framework and low-temperature borosilicate with a moderate silica content can lead to the formation of microliquations
