Within the framework of a quasi-static uncoupled problem of thermoelasticity, one-sided heating of a plate freely clamped along the contour by a volume source is considered. An analytical relationship is obtained, which is a criterion for the thermal strength of a plate, which makes it possible to determine non-destructive modes of laser processing, as well as the thermal strength of existing and developed materials. An experimental verification of the adequacy of the computational model has been carried out. Il. 2, bibliography: 11 titles.
