Novel refractory materials for building and repair of glass melting furnaces

JSC "Borovichi Refractory Plant" has developed and mastered the production of a number of new types of refractory products for the construction and repair of glass furnaces: shaped cup-type packing for regenerators of glass furnaces (chamotte, mullite-corundum and periclase-spinel compositions); fireclay lightweight with a density of 0.9, 1.0 and 1.3 g / cm3, having increased strength; large-block products for laying the bottom of glass furnaces; elements of the topside, working channels, burners and other elements of the glass-melting furnace (according to the customer's drawings) made of low-cement concrete. The products have an increased technical resource and have proven themselves well when used in a number of glass factories. Tab. 7, ill. 1, bibliography: 7 titles.
