Calcium phosphate materials are finding increasing use for bone replacement and treatment. The influence of the phase and chemical (ionic) compositions on the biomedical properties (bioresistivity and bioresorbability) of such materials is considered. The principles of the formation of the microstructure of bioceramics, as well as possible directions of chemical modification of calcium phosphates with biocompatible anions and cations are outlined. Tab. 1, ill. 1, bibliography: 12 titles.
