The glass transition region in the PbCl 2 & # 8211; PbF 2 & # 8211; PbO & # 8211; SiO 2 system was investigated and glasses were obtained, including number activated by neodymium. The mechanical, optical and spectral-luminescent properties of glasses have been investigated. It is shown that replacing fluorine with chlorine shifts the maxima of the luminescence and absorption lines to longer wavelengths.
