The results of the work obtained during the implementation of the joint project of Glaverbel Czech JSC and the Department of Machines and Robots for Glass Production at the University of Liberec (Czech Republic) are presented. For a more accurate assessment of the quality of float glass on the production line, the corrugation test was objectified. The processes for the production of large laminated glasses, as well as the causes and sources of cracking and breaking of glass in the process of autoclaving, are analyzed. Computer simulation of the deformation characteristics of the racks in the production of large laminated glass made it possible to carry out calculations to optimize the rack design and ensure its maximum strength. Tab. 1, ill. 6, bibliography: 7 titles.
Mathematical models have been developed that describe the effect of the tempering process on the characteristics of automotive glass, in particular, on the nature of destruction during testing. Linear regression models adequately describe the maximum number and length of fragments obtained during testing. The effect of the hardening regime on the nature of glass destruction is shown. Bibliography: 3 titles.
Using the equations of equilibrium of internal and external forces, formulas were obtained and a program "Solid glass" was developed for the practical calculation of the strength of sheet glass in transverse bending under the influence of a uniform load. The calculated values ??of strength and deflection of sheet glass are in good agreement with experimental data. Il. 3, bibliography: 1 title.
