A new program for calculating the recipe for a glass batch has been developed, which makes it possible to accelerate and improve the calculation process, to simulate the change in the composition of glass depending on changes in the chemical composition and the ratio of raw materials, and to quickly recalculate various options many times. Borosilicate glass-forming compositions R ₂ O - B ₂ O ₃ - SiO ₂ - R _{a < / sub> O b (R - Li, Na, K; Ra - Zn, Pb). Correlation-regression analysis of the criteria influencing their hydrogen permeability is carried out: silicate modulus, oxygen number, structure connectivity factor, relative molar volumes of components. The drawbacks of the production of soda silicate lumps in bath glass furnaces are noted, the expediency of melting of soluble glass in an annular cyclone chamber using sulfate industrial waste is shown. A method is given for calculating the dimensions of the flow path of a cyclone chamber of a given productivity. The results of the calculation of the cyclone chamber and the entire installation with a capacity of 40 tons / day are presented, including the environmental and technical and economic characteristics of obtaining a silicate lump and liquid glass from it. The features of sintering ceramics based on aluminum oxide with a eutectic zinc-containing additive have been investigated. It has been established that the introduction of 1% of a sintering additive into GLMK alumina makes it possible at a temperature of 1450 ° C to obtain ceramics with zero open porosity, an average density of 3.84 g / cm ³ and a ultimate bending strength of 310 40 MPa. The ceramics has a closed porosity of about 1% and an average size of corundum crystals of 5-8 microns. Tab. 2, ill. 1, bibliography: 6 titles.

The current situation of obtaining thermo- and heat-resistant technical ceramics is reflected. The optimal conditions for the synthesis and properties of mullithotialite ceramic materials based on chemically deposited mixtures have been determined. Tab. 1, ill. 2, bibliography: 17 titles.

The products of the synthesis of crystalline matrices, which are promising for the immobilization of actinides, have been studied by X-ray phase analysis. The experiments were carried out with compositions corresponding to the stoichiometry of the phases of zirconolite (CaZrTi ₂ O ₇) and pyrochlore (CaCeTi ₂ O ₇ , Gd ₂ Ti ₂ O ₇, Gd ₂ Zr ₂ O ₇) structural types. The experiments were carried out in the temperature range 800 - 1600 ° C, sintering duration 5 - 50 h, in air and oxygen. The conditions for phase formation in matrices of various compositions have been determined. Practical recommendations are given. Tab. 5, bibliography: 11 titles.

A method for surface treatment of titanium and its alloys prior to the application of dental enamels is proposed. The effect of surface treatment and protective atmosphere on the adhesion strength at the enamel - titanium interface and the rate of oxidation of the titanium surface during heating has been studied. It is shown that the use of phosphoric acid as an etchant and the introduction of an additional degreasing operation increase the adhesion strength of titanium and enamel and reduce the rate of formation of an oxygen-enriched layer on the metal surface. Mechanical methods of purification of waste water from enterprises of the porcelain and faience industry are considered. The prospects of using the electroflotation method with insoluble electrodes at the stage of separation of liquid and solid phases using more efficient flotation reagents are shown.
