  • The effect of titanium dioxide on the structure and properties of boron-free glass

    • Pages: -
As a result of IR spectroscopic and X-ray phase studies, the structural features of glasses of the Na 2 O - SiO 2 - TiO 2 - Na 3 < / sub> AlF 6, as well as the dependence of the nature of crystallizing phases on the chemical composition of the glass matrix. The effect of the structure of titanium-containing clusters on the leachability of glasses, the effect of the second coordination sphere on the coordination of the central cation (Ti 4+), and the tendency to jam experimental glass coatings are noted. Il. 4, bibliography: 8 titles.
  • Low-melting crystallizable boron-phosphate glass binders

    • Pages: -
Glass-crystalline materials have been obtained and tested, which can be used as sitallizing bonds for abrasive tools with a heat treatment temperature of 650 ° C. Their basic physical and chemical properties have been investigated. Tab. 3, ill. 1, bibliography: 5 titles.

  • Formation of ultra-disperse systems based on sodium polyaluminates from thermal plasma flow

    • Pages: -
The process of synthesis of sodium b-alumina under conditions of low-temperature nitrogen plasma has been investigated. It was found that the main product of the plasma-chemical reaction is sodium polyaluminate Na 2 O x nAl 2 O 3 of unknown structure, the homogeneity region of which is in the range n = 3.5 - 8.0. The features of phase transformations during heating of plasma-chemical synthesis products in the temperature range 600 - 1400 ° C have been studied. The formation of a phase with a b-alumina structure (b- and b "-Al 2 O 3) proceeds in several stages with the formation of intermediate metastable sodium polyaluminates. 5, bibliography: 6 titles.
  • Laser-chemical activation of alumina ceramic surface

    • Pages: -
The results of the study of the process of laser-chemical activation of the ceramic surface and its subsequent chemical metallization are presented. The results obtained served as the basis for the development of an industrial method for local metallization of the surface of products made of alumina ceramics. Il. 3, bibliography: 5 titles.
  • Composition material of the system corundum - zirconium dioxide - sintering additive

    • Pages: -
A composite material has been developed based on Al 2 O 3, containing partially stabilized ZrO 2 as a strengthening component, and a eutectic of the CaO system as a sintering additive - ZnO - Al 2 O 3 - SiO 2. The use of aluminum oxide obtained on the basis of aluminum hydroxide as a raw material makes it possible to synthesize a material with an average bending strength of 530 MPa at a firing temperature of 1550 ° C. Tab. 1, ill. 1, bibliography: 5 titles.
  • The effect of talcum-chlorite shales on the properties of ceramic tiles

    • Pages: -
In order to use fine-fraction talcochlorites to improve the properties of ceramic products, their study was carried out as a thinning additive to clay in the mass of ceramic tiles. The use of talcum chlorite helps to increase the strength and reduce shrinkage of the tiles in comparison with the traditional composition with a minimum amount of components in the charge. Tab. 2, ill. 2, bibliography: 1 title.

  • Electroblasting production technology of refractory nonmetal nanopowders

    Autors: O. B. Nazarenko

The research results characterizing the electrical explosion of conductors as a chemical reactor are presented. It is shown that with EEC in chemically active media, it is possible to obtain nanopowders of refractory nonmetallic materials in a nanodispersed state. The conditions are analyzed that allow one to regulate the phase, chemical and dispersed compositions of the formed powders: the energy introduced into the conductor, the arc stage, the chemical composition and the density of the environment. Tab. 3, ill. 3, bibliography: 11 titles.

  • Clays from Semikarakorskoe deposit

    • Pages: -
Clay of the Semikarakorsk deposit (Rostov region) was investigated for suitability for the production of ceramic products. Clay refers to low-melting polymineral hard-to-sinter clays, contains impurities in the form of organic inclusions, calcites, feldspars, quartz. It can be used in the production of building ceramics and majolica products. Il. 3, bibliography: 4 titles.

  • Determination of quality parameters of barium titanate powder

    • Pages: -
The results of the development of methods for determining some quality parameters of barium titanate powder - the main component of a number of ceramic materials that are used to obtain capacitors are presented. The degree of conversion of ZnO and BaTiO 3, the bulk density of sintered powders, the degree of their dissolution in hydrochloric acid, and some diffraction characteristics of BaTiO 3 powders, determined by the developed methods, can with a sufficient degree of reliability predict the quality of ceramic capacitors made from barium titanate powders. Tab. 4, bibliography: 8 titles.
