The introduction of nanomaterials and nanotechnology at ceramic enterprises has its own objective and subjective characteristics. It is advisable to start mastering nanotechnology with the use of nanopowder additives to existing ceramic masses, especially in the form of modifying additives. Another promising method is the production of nanoceramics from powders of unstable solid phases, in which the particle sizes are much larger than nanoscale ones, and the nanostructure is created during heat treatment during their decomposition. At the same time, all stages of ceramic technology change little. The most difficult thing seems to be the production of nanoceramics from nanopowders due to a significant change in the technology parameters. For nanocomposites, the use of negative and positive templates is promising. Il. 4

Structural and chemical analysis of the talc deposit in the Zeysky district (Lozhnikovsky occurrence) of the Amur region has been carried out. Experimental samples of steatite ceramics were obtained. The electrophysical and mechanical characteristics of the obtained material have been investigated. Tab. 4, ill. 4, bibliography: 8 titles.

The possibility of using silicon-containing mineral raw materials (quartz sand and sand flask), mined in the Belgorod region for the production of ceramic materials with a combination of high heat resistance and satisfactory mechanical strength in compression, is shown. As a result of the studies carried out, it was found that oxides of alkaline earth metals have a different effect on the properties of boronless enamels, in particular, magnesium oxide increases the whiteness of coatings, strontium oxide improves their gloss only when it is introduced up to 1%, and calcium oxide in the studied quantities negatively affects both whiteness and gloss of coatings. It should be noted that the influence of the investigated alkaline earth oxides on the properties of boron-free enamels is similar to their effect on the properties of boron-containing enamels. The influence of nanodispersed particles of hydrosols of Al and Si oxides on the structure formation of minerals in aqueous suspensions of bentonite and refractory clays is considered. During the formation of the structure of the ceramic material, the following were recorded: pH and structure of clay suspensions, fluidity of slips, shrinkage and compressive strength of specimens cast from slips based on dried and thermally activated (350 ° C) clays. The influence of the mineralogical composition of alkaline syenite enrichment wastes on the structure and properties of ceramic tiles has been established. The ceramics obtained after firing at a temperature of 950 - 1100 ° C has an uneven-grained structure, consisting of a fine-grained base (grain size less than 5 microns) and inclusions with a size of 10 - 50 microns (in ceramics with slurry) and up to 120 microns (in ceramics with magnetic fraction). The glass phase is enriched with oxides of aluminum, magnesium and iron, which are part of the syenite enrichment waste, and has a heterogeneous chemical composition. It is shown that the higher content of ferrous minerals in the magnetic fraction in comparison with the sludge significantly intensifies the processes of glass formation and sintering of ceramics, causing low water absorption and high strength.
