The possibility of eliminating the alkali-silicon reaction (ASR-interaction) in foam glass due to the crystallization of the glass is considered. It was found that devitrite (Na ₂ Ca ₃ Si ₆ O ₁₆ ), octahedral phase (Na ₄ CaSi ₃ O ₉) and cristobalite-tridymite modifications of SiO2. The binary glass-crystalline composition of the foam shows a significant reduction in ASR interaction. Slab glass foam crystallite (? Penosital ??) can be glued, plastering with a cement-sand mortar, covered with finishing polymer plasters. Granular foam can be successfully added as a lightweight filler in concrete without destroying it.

The results of studies of the resistance of basalt fibers of various chemical and mineralogical compositions to aggressive media are presented. Their high chemical resistance to water, acids and alkalis has been shown. A parameter is proposed for predicting the chemical resistance of fibers depending on the content of metal oxides in glass. The most reliable results are obtained by the method for determining the change in the strength of fibers after their processing in aggressive media.

The process of phase formation in the BaCO ₃ + TiO ₂ system has been studied using solid-phase reactions and synthesis from a melt obtained by exposure to concentrated solar radiation of various power. It is shown that in the power range up to 100 W / cm2, barium metatitanate BaTiO ₃ of the cubic system is formed; with an increase in the radiation power, a tetragonal phase of barium titanate is formed. The obtained barium titanates have high values ??of dielectric constant (3000? 3200) and low dielectric losses.

The technology of structural ceramics, based on the use of cold isostatic pressing, provides products with high values ??of the required properties. However, the application of the isostatic pressing method is often limited by the difficulties associated with obtaining shaped articles with thin shape elements and large length-to-cross-sectional ratios. The proposed method for isostatic pressing of powders in molds made of thermoplastic materials helps to solve this problem. The features, advantages and disadvantages of using such molds are considered.

A new method for the synthesis of yttrium-aluminum garnet powder Y3Al5O12 is proposed, which consists in the anion-exchange coprecipitation of yttrium and aluminum from chloride solutions with the Purolite A-300 anionite in the OH-form and calcining the formed precursor at a temperature of 900 ° C. The product was studied by XRD, DSC, IR spectroscopy and electron microscopy. The particle size of the obtained Y3Al5O12 was 300 nm

It was determined by X-ray phase and IR spectroscopic methods of analysis that the strength properties of ceramics, which served for more than 100 years in the buildings of the Catholic Church, the Iversky Monastery and the Nativity Church. In addition, the presence of isothermal pores and oval closed porosity in the studied brick samples of these buildings also contributes to an increase in durability.

The results of the development of the composition of the charge for the production of ceramic bricks based on local clay of low quality with the addition of galvanic sludge from a local enterprise and modifying additives are presented. The results of determining the main physical and mechanical properties of the obtained material are given.

An energy-saving technology of a non-shrinkable facing material is proposed and tested, which is based on the imposition and zeroing of two opposite deformation effects during sintering: volumetric shrinkage and foaming with the formation of a microporous structure. The necessary conditions for the implementation of the proposed technology are indicated.

The efficiency of using titanium dioxide as a muffler for obtaining glass-crystalline wear-resistant semi-fritted glaze coatings of floor tiles with the required physicochemical and operational characteristics has been established. A comprehensive study of the processes of formation of a glaze coating of the optimal composition was carried out using the methods of infrared spectroscopy, X-ray phase analysis and electron microscopy.
