The process of interaction of bismuthate-borate glasses with the composition (mass content, %): 70 Bi2O3, 30 B2O3; 70 Bi2O3, 27 B2O3, 3 MoO3; 70 Bi2O3, 26.94 B2O3, 3.06 GeO2 and bismuth glasses of composition (mass content, %): 80 Bi2O3, 7 SiO2, 10 GeO2, 3 MoO3 with orthophosphoric acid. The kinetics of this pro-cess is described and the activation energies are calculated. It is shown that, at short interaction times, the process is limited by the stage of the chemical reaction; with increasing time, the stage of diffusion through the sediment layer begins to play the main role in the heterogeneous interaction. The optimal parameters of the chemical processing of glass were selected – 15 min at 373 K
