Heading: Science for glass production

A new method for the production of glass with a more equilibrium thickness has been developed, the main principle of which is to create a compressive force along the axis of the tape with the help of several pairs of bead-holding machines. The use of this method makes it possible to produce thickened glass of a sufficiently high quality with a width of 1700 - 1800 mm, to reduce losses by reducing the duration of technological transitions from one thickness to another, to avoid a decrease in the productivity of installations when producing glass of thick denominations.
