The capillary-crystallization interaction of potassium-containing components of the glass batch has been studied. A comparison is made with similar dependences for sodium-containing components. Revealed new patterns associated with different solubility of the components, not previously noted. In particular, a positive effect on the consolidation of the charge components of alkali metal sulfates, which are widely used as accelerators of glass-making processes, is shown. The behavior of the capillary-crystallization curves for various solutions of the components is analyzed. Il. 5, bibliography: 3 titles.
