The processes of film formation in a three-component system have been investigated - from the preparation of the working solution to the firing of the coating. It is shown that the properties and quality of coatings are established at the stage of preparation of a film-forming solution and depend on the size, shape of sol particles, porosity of the film, and diffusion processes at the glass-film interface.
