Heading: Science for glass production

The method of IR spectroscopy of aqueous solutions and films of silanes A-174 and GVS-9 was used to study their transformations depending on the duration of hydrolysis and aging of aqueous solutions, as well as on the temperatures of thermal treatment of the films. The adhesion characteristics in systems modified with a sizing glass fiber - polyester resin have been studied. The optimal parameters for the finishing of glass fibers with silanes A-174 and GVS-9 have been formulated. Tab. 3, ill. 3, bibliography: 2 titles.
