Heading: Science for glass production

The process of clarification of alkali-free glass type E (production of glass beads and continuous glass fibers) with sodium sulfate in comparison with antimony anhydride and cerium dioxide has been investigated. The high efficiency of sulfate clarification is shown and the technological parameters of its use are determined. Tab. 1, ill. 2, bibliography: 7 titles.
