The structures of titanium-containing aluminosilicate decorative glasses have been investigated by means of electron microscopy of various resolutions, electron microanalysis and X-ray diffraction. It was found that the reason for the formation of a patterned color is a stable and metastable liquation of melts and glasses, which leads to the formation of macrolayers and microphases of various compositions. The influence of the chemical composition of glasses on the processes of liquation in the studied system is shown. Tab. 1, ill. 2, bibliography: 4 titles.
