The main types of cutting of sheet glass are considered. Mechanical roller cutting is described in most detail as the most common at the moment. Explains the effect of roller geometry and loading on edge quality. It also provides a general description of waterjet and laser cutting technologies. The advantages and disadvantages of existing technologies are indicated. Il. 6, bibliography: 11 titles.
