Electrochemical methods of strengthening monolayer glass-enamels binding with a substrate

A method of pretreatment of the steel surface before single-layer enameling is proposed, which makes it possible to obtain an enamel coating with a sufficiently high adhesion strength and good surface quality. The essence of the method lies in the electrolytic deposition of nickel and copper layers on the steel surface. The composition of a single-layer enamel coating based on alumina-containing waste has been developed. On the basis of this composition, colored single-layer enamels were obtained.
