Comparative tests of laminated glass of various completing for impact resistance were carried out. Tests have confirmed the possibility of using glass subjected to a special heat treatment for the production of laminated impact-resistant glass. Glasses completed on the basis of STO-glass meet the requirements of GOST R 51136-98 for impact resistance. At the same time, the thickness and weight of the products are reduced by 1.5 times. On the basis of experimental data accumulated in the scientific literature on the kinetics of dissolution of silica grains, a generalized dependence was obtained, according to which the kinetic curves of dissolution under conditions of diffusion mass transfer are unambiguously determined by the chemical composition (silicate modulus), the cooking temperature and the initial granulometric composition of the silica-containing components of the charge. The effect of oxide-modifiers (MgO, CaO, SrO, BaO and ZnO), introduced instead of SiO ₂ into the composition of borosilicate glass, on its properties has been investigated. It was found that the physicochemical properties (TCLE, temperature of the onset of softening, microhardness, density, water resistance) of glasses are mainly determined by the structure and phase composition and to a lesser extent depend on the type of oxide modifier. The influence of the amount of paraffin and the method of its introduction into the molding mass (after dispersion and joint dispersion), prepared from technical alumina and 20% nitric acid, has been investigated. It was found that mechanochemical activation in the presence of paraffin makes it possible to achieve a greater effect in the regulation of structural, mechanical and rheological properties. A block cellular alumina-vanadium catalyst for the selective reduction of nitrogen oxides with ammonia has been developed. With an average conversion of nitrogen oxides of more than 90%, the efficiency of the proposed catalyst is significantly higher than that of currently used industrial catalysts. Such a catalyst can be recommended for use in selective installations for the purification of exhaust gases from nitrogen oxides, which will significantly reduce the cost of manufacturing a catalytic unit. A method of pretreatment of the steel surface before single-layer enameling is proposed, which makes it possible to obtain an enamel coating with a sufficiently high adhesion strength and good surface quality. The essence of the method lies in the electrolytic deposition of nickel and copper layers on the steel surface. The composition of a single-layer enamel coating based on alumina-containing waste has been developed. On the basis of this composition, colored single-layer enamels were obtained. Investigated glass-enamel coatings with defects of the "prick" type, repaired using a repetitively pulsed laser radiation. It is shown that the heat resistance and acid resistance of the coatings after repair are not inferior to defect-free coatings, and the microhardness of the coating in the repair zone is higher than that of the base. The rheological properties of turpentine oil, solutions of oxyterpene resin and silicate paints based on them have been studied. It has been shown that paints diluted with a 20% solution of oxyterpene resin in turpentine have a lower viscosity at low shear rates and are characterized by more elastic structures. For each decoration method, the optimal concentrations of silicate paint compositions have been determined. Tab. 1, ill. 3, bibliography: 3 titles.

The results of the study of the possibility of using cullet of different chemical composition accumulated in landfills for the production of foam glass are presented. It has been established that sodium silicate, introduced into cullet in the form of liquid sodium glass, partially destroys the crushed cullet, averages the chemical composition of the charge and its most important technological properties. Due to the chemical interaction between the liquid sodium glass and the surface of the particles of crushed cullet, silicates are formed containing bound water, which is released at high temperatures (600 - 620 ° C) and promotes foaming of the foam glass. In the charge, liquid sodium glass leads to an increase in the amount of the glassy phase and reduces the tendency of the glass to crystallize. Tab. 2, ill. 3, bibliography: 8 titles.

The results of research on the development of glass-ceramic materials for medical purposes are presented. The influence of the composition of the liquid phase during sintering of composite materials on the transition of hydroxyapatite to tricalcium phosphate was revealed. The possibility of regulating the structural and mechanical properties, bioactivity and the duration of implant resorption by changing the ratio of hydroxyapatite and diopside sitall in the composition of biomaterials has been established.
