On the basis of experimental data accumulated in the scientific literature on the kinetics of dissolution of silica grains, a generalized dependence was obtained, according to which the kinetic curves of dissolution under conditions of diffusion mass transfer are unambiguously determined by the chemical composition (silicate modulus), the cooking temperature and the initial granulometric composition of the silica-containing components of the charge.
