The effect of firing glass enamel coatings in a high-frequency electric field on their wear resistance has been studied. It is shown that the wear resistance increases by 2.8 - 5.5 times, depending on the type of coating. As a result of ellipsometric studies, it was found that an increase in the wear resistance of glass enamel coatings when formed under the influence of an HF field is antibatically changing the refractive index of the glass matrix.
