Heading: Refractories for glass production

To prevent glass defects formed from the lining that breaks down during operation, and to maintain the operable state of the float bath equipment, it is necessary to use high-quality refractory materials, developed taking into account the peculiarities of their service. At the Saratov Institute of Glass, the maximum permissible parameters of fluctuations in the composition of the gaseous medium in the melt bath, causing the destruction of the refractory lining, have been determined. Tests were carried out under operational conditions of new types of composite materials - concretes on a fireclay refractory base, manufactured at the Semiluki Refractory Plant. Tab. 1, ill. 1, bibliography: 3 titles.
