Service of refractory materials in a bath(-type) furnace

The fundamental issues of extending the overhaul period for the operation of glass-melting baths are considered. Based on the results of the examination of the refractory masonry when stopping the furnace for cold repairs and studying the features of the corrosion of refractories in various structural elements of the masonry, technical solutions have been developed and implemented to extend the campaign of bath furnaces to 7-8 years.
