Some properties of fused basalt and clay materials, as well as compositions based on them, for obtaining wear and corrosion resistant coatings for pipes of steam boilers at TPPs have been studied. It is shown that fused mineral raw materials can be used in compositions with liquid glass in the development of compositions of protective coatings. Materials based on fused pyroxene waste with the addition of basalt fiber, the mass content of which does not exceed 50%, have the highest chemical resistance and wear resistance.
