A ceramic brick M125 was obtained on the basis of substandard clay (loess-like loam) using overburden of pyrite copper-zinc ore at a firing temperature of 1000 ° C. At a firing temperature of a ceramic material of 950 & # 176; C appear: hematite, magnetite, anorthite and glass phase, and at 1000 & # 176; C & # 8211; cristobalite. An increase in the firing temperature to 1050 & # 176; C does not lead to special changes, with the exception of an increase in the content of cristobalite, anorthite and glass phase. At a firing temperature of 1100 ° C, mullite appears, which gives ceramic materials strength

The glass transition region in the PbCl
2 & # 8211; PbF
2 & # 8211; PbO & # 8211; SiO
2 system was investigated and glasses were obtained, including number activated by neodymium. The mechanical, optical and spectral-luminescent properties of glasses have been investigated. It is shown that replacing fluorine with chlorine shifts the maxima of the luminescence and absorption lines to longer wavelengths.

The influence of silicon carbide (10 & # 8211; 40 & # 37; by mass) on the physical-mechanical and electro-physical characteristics of composites is considered. The effect of the additive on the radio absorption capacity of the material is assessed by measuring the coefficient of absorption, transmission and reflection of electromagnetic radiation, as well as the dielectric constant of the material. It was found that the introduction to the composition 30 & # 37; by weight silicon carbide increases compressive strength up to 2.4 MPa due to the reinforcing role of silicon carbide needle crystals. Additional dielectric losses and average pore size of the composite with the introduction of 30 & # 37; silicon carbide provide a coefficient of absorption of electromagnetic radiation in the frequency range 120 & # 8211; 250 GHz 95 to 98 & # 37;

The effect of the anionic composition of zinc salts upon interaction with tin (IV) chloride on the preparation of zinc orthostannate by the sol-gel method was studied. It was determined that the minimum temperature for the synthesis of zinc orthostannate is 1000 ° C. It was found that when zinc chloride is used, tetraaminezinc chloride is formed, which decomposes during firing.

On the basis of the author's methodology and structural model of monodisperse systems in combination with the theory of percolation, the parameters of the porous structure of the reaction-bound silicon nitride are estimated depending on the content of the pore-forming agent. When evaluating the thermal conductivity of ceramics, it was found that the analytical and experimental results for silicon nitride without a pore former are in satisfactory agreement with each other, and for samples with a pore former & # 8211; are several times different. A hypothesis has been put forward that a sharp decrease in thermal conductivity during the introduction of a pore-forming agent is caused by the effect of separation of silicon particles by larger particles of a pore-forming agent.

A comparative analysis of the physical and technical properties of existing and proposed perlite thermal insulation products, agricultural components, acoustic fillings, demonstrating a significant improvement in the quality of the latter. In this regard, a selective method for the development of perlite deposits with thin extraction layers is proposed to obtain a homogeneous perlite rock in terms of average density, followed by classification by the size of fractions, which will make it possible to obtain a homogeneous raw material and expanded perlite with a stable set of properties.

Based on the natural zeolite of Nakhchivan, clinoptilolite zeolite was synthesized and the effects of synthesis conditions (temperature, concentration of thermal solution and mineralizer) on the crystallization process were investigated. The zeolite tuff of the Nakhchivan Kukuchay deposit was used as a starting material. It was found that the optimal synthesis conditions favor the production of clinoptilolite with a 100 ° degree of crystallinity. Changing the optimal synthesis conditions contributes to the production of other structural types of zeolites or their associations.
