Optimal compositions for the synthesis of foam glass with the use of slag waste from thermal power plants have been developed? foam slag glass. Based on the experimental data, a program has been created for modeling the foaming process, which makes it possible to establish the structure of foamed slag glass without carrying out additional experimental studies.
The possibility of using ash and slag waste from thermal power plants in the production of heat-insulating glass materials has been established. Compositions with different granulometric composition of the charge have been developed, and heat treatment has been carried out. The main properties of the synthesized samples were determined, the effect of particle size on the foaming of granules and the optimal dispersion of the charge was established.
