  • Modernization of the system controlling pneumatic transport of the raw components of the glass batch

    • Pages: -
The modernized control system of pneumatic conveying of raw materials of glass batch produced by JSC "Stromizmeritel" is considered. A comparative analysis of various control schemes for the process of filling a pneumatic chamber pump with transported material is given. Bibliography: 2 titles.

  • The effect of the torch length on hydrodynamics of glass-melting tank with a horse-shaped flame direction

    • Pages: -
It is shown that the hydrodynamics of the melting tank of a modern high-performance glass-making furnace depends on a set of interrelated factors. Along with the distribution of temperatures on the surface of the pool, determined by external heat exchange, the formation of convection flows is significantly influenced by the design of the pool, the conditions for loading the charge and the selection of molten glass, as well as the parameters of the working flow, determined by the specific productivity of the furnace. A joint consideration of the results of modeling the external heat transfer and the hydrodynamics of the pool allows us to conclude that, in relation to the investigated design of the furnace, the most appropriate is the heating mode in which the total length of the flame is equal to the length of the furnace. • Film formation in two-component sol-gel systems

    • Pages: -
The film-forming ability of two-component systems containing Sb 2 O 3, SnO 2, CeO 2, Y 2 O 3, Nd 2 O 3, Bi 2 O 3, V 2 O 5, ZnO, CuO, CdO and Al 2 O 3. The best film-formers are Sb 2 О 3 and SnО 2, and ZnO, CuO, CdO and Al 2 О < sub> 3 optical quality films are not formed. The rest of the studied oxides at a molar content of 20 - 50% do not worsen the transparency of the coatings. A proportional relationship was established between the refractive index and the reflection coefficient of the films and the refractive indices of the oxides included in their composition, as well as between the concentration of the applied POR, the film-forming ability of the oxides, and the thickness of the films. • Container green glass based on the slag of ferro-chrome production

    • Pages: -
The possibility of using ferrochromic slag in glass production with its addition to the raw material more than 6% (up to 20%) is considered. The physicochemical properties of the synthesized samples were investigated, their performance characteristics (temperature range of molding, relative speed of the machine, crystallization index) were determined. Glass of this composition meets all the requirements for performance properties, it can be recommended for the production of narrow-necked green glass containers. Il. 3, bibliography: 4 titles.

  • Ceramic tiles from the onsite polymineral clays

    • Pages: -
It is shown that from polymineral clays of the Republic of Tatarstan using methods that improve the quality of clay raw materials - mixing the mass with activated water, processing the raw material in an electric mass classifier, introducing technological additives into the raw material (mechanically activated quartz-glauconite sands or phosphorites, refractory clay) - it is possible to obtain by the method of semi-dry pressing with slip preparation of press powder of ceramic facing tiles for indoor and outdoor work, which meet the requirements of regulatory documents. • Extrusive molding of synthetic zeolite based sorbents

    • Pages: -
The possibility of preparing complex-profile thin-walled sorbents based on synthetic zeolites has been investigated. It is proposed to use natural aluminosilicates as a binder. Methods have been developed for controlling the properties of molding masses based on zeolites by introducing a plasticizer and an alkaline or acid modification of the binder structure. Tab. 3, ill. 3, bibliography: 7 titles.
  • Evaluation of corrosive resistance of refractory materials in fritted glaze melting furnaces

    • Pages: -
The corrosion resistance of refractories in frit melts used at ZAO Velor (Orel) has been investigated. Based on the results of the work carried out, it was proposed to replace the MKS refractory material, which is currently used for lining the fritted glaze melting furnace, with the CMC material, which is more resistant to frit melts. Tab. 3, ill. 1, bibliography: 4 titles.
  • Ceramic pigments for black glaze production

    • Pages: -
A new ceramic pigment of black color was developed based on the CoO - Fe 2 O 3 system at low synthesis temperatures (1000 - 1200 ° C). The optimal temperature range for the spinel formation reaction in the indicated oxide system has been established. The resulting pigment, when introduced during grinding into a raw glaze for sanitary porcelain, provides glaze coatings characterized by an intense and stable black color in a fairly wide range of firing temperatures. Tab. 2, ill. 2, bibliography: 9 titles.

  • Chemical durability of low-melting enamels for glass decoration

    • Pages: -
The chemical resistance of lead-free low-melting non-transparent enamels intended for decorating the outer surface of high-quality glassware, depending on the duration of action of hot (98 ° C) water and a 2% solution of sodium carbonate at room temperature, has been determined. The synthesized enamels can be classified as chemically resistant to hot water and slightly alkaline solutions. Il. 2, bibliography: 1 title.

  • Thermostatic control of secondary device for registration of the parameters of thermally treated articles at increased temperatures

    Autors: E. N. Gnezdov
    • Pages: -
Two thermostat options for the secondary measuring device have been developed and tested in the field. The temperature required for normal operation of the secondary device from 5 to 50 ° C is maintained throughout the entire time the thermostat is in the dryer - 43 hours.
