The effect of ZrO ₂, P ₂ O ₅, and F ^- -ion on the resistance of electrode glasses to fluorine-containing media has been studied. It was found that the most stable glasses are located in the region of the minimum molar content of P ₂ O ₅ (no more than 2.5%), with a molar content of ZrO _{2 up to 3%. It is shown that when working glass electrodes with an active part made of experimental glasses, it is necessary to preliminary "soak" the electrode in an HF solution with a concentration of up to 1000 mg / l for 3-7 days. The study of the surface quality of three types of corundum materials for microcircuit substrates has been carried out. It is shown that the surface quality after grinding and polishing depends on the size of the crystals in the ceramics, which is largely determined by the dispersion of the initial powder, additives, and the sintering regime. The results of the study of the process of high-temperature nitriding of a mixture of ferrosilicon - ilmenite using a complex method of differential scanning calorimetry are presented. A ceramic composition of the composition Si ₃ N ₄ - TiN - Si ₂ N ₂ O - Fe was obtained by the method of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis with the use of ferrosilicon and ilmenite pulverized waste as raw materials. The spectral characteristics of radiation diffusely reflected by the surface of ceramic tiles under continuous and pulsed illumination are compared. The results of exposure of experimental samples to ultraviolet radiation have been studied. It is shown that the phenomenon of triplet absorption, leading to phosphorescence in the visible range, is characteristic of ceramic glaze irradiated with a flash lamp. Exposure of the glaze to ultraviolet radiation causes the appearance of radiation color centers in the glassy network, which absorb visible light. All this determines the discrepancy between the results of the instrumental and visual assessment of the color of ceramic tiles. Il. 4, bibliography: 13 titles.

Several methods of preparing the aluminum surface before single-layer enameling are considered. A method has been developed for preparing an aluminum surface by alkaline chromate oxidation in a solution based on K ₂ Cr ₂ O ₄ without annealing, but with preliminary degreasing with the formation of complexes type [Al (OH) ₄ (H ₂ O) ₂] ^-, [Al (OH) < sub> 6] ^-3, [Al (OH) ₅ (H ₂ O)] ^{-2 < / sup>. The influence of preparation methods on the quality of the enamel coating has been studied. The expediency of using zirconium-free frits in the production of semi-fritted wear-resistant glass-crystalline coatings has been established, which provides a reduction in the total fuel and energy costs for the production of floor tiles by reducing the synthesis temperature of the frit by 80-100 ° C and reducing its amount to 20-22.5% in the raw material compositions.
