The possibility of a significant increase in the tribological characteristics of structural steels under various friction conditions by applying a layer of composite chemical coatings with a nickel-phosphorus alloy with inclusions of dispersed particles of oxides of chromium, aluminum, titanium, zirconium, boron carbide, titanium nitride, diamond, and copper phthalocyaninate is shown. The influence of the nature, size and content of dispersed particles in composite coatings on the wear resistance of a tribocontact is investigated. The optimal conditions for the deposition of composite coatings with increased wear resistance have been determined.
