Methods of imposing a multidimensional mesh on a mold kit of an arbitrary shape are considered. Il. 2, bibliography: 3 titles.
The design of the slag chamber and its purpose in the process of forming float glass are considered. The development of the Saratov Institute of Glass - a device for supplying a protective atmosphere to the slag chamber, its sealing and thermal sealing are proposed. Bibliography: 1 titles.
A new method for predicting the impact strength of sheet glass based on the energy approach is proposed. The method was tested on annealed and tempered glasses. Il. 3, bibliography: 4 titles.
A qualitative assessment of the spectral and viscosity-temperature characteristics of heat-absorbing glass in comparison with ordinary colorless glass has been carried out, and the features of its formation have been revealed. Based on the analysis of patent literature and the experience of glass production on the EPKS-4000 line of the Saratov Institute of Glass, it is shown that it is necessary to change the structural elements of the drain unit and molding modes to obtain high-quality heat-absorbing glass. Bibliography: 6 titles.
An alkali-free, boron-free fiberglass has been developed, superior in its basic properties to type E fiber. Fibers based on the developed glass composition are recommended to be used as a filler for high-strength fiberglass, which can be used under prolonged exposure to aggressive media. The technological characteristics of the obtained glass composition make it possible to draw the fiber on the existing equipment. Tab. 3, ill. 2, bibliography: 5 titles.
A method is proposed for analyzing the influence of changes in the technological regime of glass-making on the properties and defects of polished glass. Il. 2, bibliography: 2 titles.
On the basis of metaphosphate compositions and boron orthophosphate, multicomponent phosphate glasses have been developed, which are highly resistant to hydrofluoric acid and have an LTEC (72 ... 92) x; 10 -7 ° С -1 and softening temperature 435 - 590 ° С, suitable for obtaining film phosphate coatings on the surface of sheet silicate glass in order to protect it from hydrofluoric acid. Tab. 3, bibliography: 3 titles.
The main directions of activity of NIIStekla are shown. Examples of the development of applied research and their introduction into production are given.
Various phenomena and processes of glass technology are considered taking into account surface and volumetric factors. A kinetic analysis of the interaction of glasses of the K 2 O - PbO - SiO 2 system with a reducing flame and the molding process under isothermal and non-isothermal conditions has been carried out. The data obtained can be used in the analysis and calculations of technological processes. Il. 4, bibliography: 15 titles.
Using the method of physical modeling of molten glass hydrodynamics, some regularities of the flow of molten glass in a high-performance container glass furnace have been studied. Il. 4, bibliography: 4 titles.
