The properties of fiberglass plastics based on polyimide, epoxy, phenolic and inorganic binders and various structures of glass fillers have been investigated. Fiberglass plastics based on epoxy binders are used for the manufacture of highly loaded structures. Glass fiber laminates based on polyimide, organosilicon and inorganic binders have been developed for operation at elevated temperatures. Examples of the use of fiberglass plastics in aircraft and rocket technology are given.
It was determined by X-ray phase and electron microscopic methods of analysis that wollastonite and anorthite give the strength properties to the ceramic facings of the Shakhi-Zinda ensemble. In addition, the presence of isothermal pores and oval closed porosity in the ceramic facings of the Shakhi-Zinda ensemble contribute to an increase in durability.
High-temperature interactions between calcium and strontium titanodisilicates have been investigated. The formation of two limited series of tetragonal solid solutions based on these initial compounds was established. The discontinuous nature of changes in the physicochemical properties of solid solutions, depending on the composition, has been determined. Glasses and glass-crystalline materials based on the studied system Ca 2 TiSi 2 O 8 - Sr 2 TiSi 2 O 8 , and the characteristic features of glass crystallization and the temperature limits of the existence of the crystalline phase have been elucidated. Tab. 1, ill. 2, bibliography: 5 titles.
The substantiation of the use of an aqueous solution for extinguishing fires containing 5 - 10% liquid glass is given. When water evaporates from the solution on the combustion surface, the liquid glass forms a viscoplastic insulating film, which foams under the action of high temperature and forms a porous insulating layer of inorganic foam. Tab. 1, bibliography: 4 titles.
The possibility of using stone casting in a new quality is considered, namely, as a replacement for natural material (marble, granite) for the manufacture of such art products as bas-reliefs, elements of architectural decoration of buildings, office and landscape gardening sculptures, etc. Table. 5, ill. 4, bibliography: 5 titles.
A technical solution is presented that increases the efficiency of using racks of multi-tier trolleys for firing ceramics. The rack has a horizontal shelf in the form of a quarter of a square or disc and a vertical bearing profile. The profile for increasing heat resistance, reducing weight and saving furnace space is made hollow, in the form of two flat walls connected at an angle of 90 °, additionally connected by a vertical curvilinear concave wall. In order to increase the efficiency of the rack and the stability of the stack on its basis, the rectilinear edges of the rack are equipped with L-shaped protrusions vertically oriented along them to form lock joints with similar protrusions of the straight edges of adjacent supports, and the bearing section of the racks decreases stepwise with the height of the stack. Il. 4, bibliography: 6 titles.
Calculation formulas are given to determine the optimal power, taking into account the factors affecting the power and productivity of presses for molding clay materials. Friction resistance coefficients are recommended depending on plasticity and clay category. Il. 3, bibliography: 5 titles.
A high-temperature (up to 1400 ° C) stationary, sample-free gas analyzer "EKON-VT" (ZAO "Econ", Obninsk) has been developed, certified and put into production, designed to measure the oxygen content during various technological processes associated with the combustion of organic fuel , for example, in industrial kilns for ceramics firing, glass-making, waste incinerators, etc. The use of this device allows you to optimize the combustion mode of fuel, stabilize the parameters of the technological mode of ceramics firing, improve the efficiency of the furnace control and the quality of the ceramics produced. Some features of the mechanism of glass formation of basalt melt are presented. The influence of the characteristics of the basalt melt on the quality of continuous fibers is shown. The advantages of the multi-station technology for the production of continuous basalt fiber have been substantiated. Tab. 1, ill. 5, bibliography: 9 titles.
The influence of nanodispersed particles of hydrosols of Al and Si oxides on the structure formation of minerals in aqueous suspensions of bentonite and refractory clays is considered. During the formation of the structure of the ceramic material, the following were recorded: pH and structure of clay suspensions, fluidity of slips, shrinkage and compressive strength of specimens cast from slips based on dried and thermally activated (350 ° C) clays. Tab. 1, ill. 5, bibliography: 11 titles.
