Investigated the corrosion resistance of float glass in the process of climatic tests. It is shown that the main defects of the surface of tempered glass are leaching, "burn-in of paper and sulphurous film". The properties of various cushioning materials used in the domestic industry have been studied. The corrosion resistance of tempered glass depends on the surface quality of the original glass and the properties of the cushioning material used to package both the original glass and the tempered glass. The influence of various technological parameters in the production of light porous granular glass-crystalline material based on zeolite-containing rocks has been studied. For the production of lightweight porous glass-crystalline material at temperatures corresponding to the technology for the production of foam glass (800 - 900 ° C), preliminary sintering of the charge must be carried out at a temperature of 700 ° C. It was found that an increase in the fineness of grinding the fritted charge to a particle size of less than 0.08 mm leads to a decrease in the bulk density of granular zeolite foam. Tab. 2, ill. 6, bibliography: 4 titles.
The possibilities of deposition of thin layers of silicon dioxide on the surface of quartz are investigated depending on the chemical composition of the initial reagents and the conditions of the process. The possibility of using silicon chloride and alcoholates for precipitation is shown. Tab. 2, bibliography: 3 titles.
The sequence of chemical transformations of elements of the surface layer of silicate glass of the system PbO - BaO - Na 2 O - Al 2 O 3 - SiO 2 when heated in a hydrogen atmosphere. The process of thermal reduction of multicomponent lead-silicate glass in hydrogen is a multistage process of diffusion and chemical interaction of lead with hydrogen. The reduction of lead is observed, and first the lead atoms associated with the alumino-oxygen groups interact with hydrogen, and then the lead atoms that are part of the silicon-oxygen structural units. The rest of the glass components in the temperature range 375 - 475 ° C do not interact with hydrogen. The concentration profiles of the distribution of elements in the surface layer of reduced glasses have been determined. Il. 3, bibliography: 8 titles.
The results of studies of the water resistance of float glass from different manufacturers (both original and tempered) are presented. It was revealed that for heat-absorbing and colorless float glass there is an asymmetry in the water resistance of molded surfaces: the water resistance of the lower surface is better than the upper one, by about 2 times. It is shown that in the process of tempering the water resistance of glass decreases, while the asymmetry of the water resistance of the surfaces remains. Based on the results obtained, it was concluded that the water resistance of float glass depends on its chemical composition and technological parameters of production. Tab. 3, ill. 1, bibliography: 3 titles.
The results of studies of glasses with modified titanium coatings are presented. It has been found that by treating glasses with coatings containing titanium nitride, it is possible to obtain a modified titanium dioxide layer exhibiting photocatalytic activity. It is shown that it is promising to carry out work on the creation of photocatalytically active glasses by thermal modification of reflective coatings with a titanium-containing outer layer in the composition obtained by vacuum technology. Tab. 1, ill. 1, bibliography: 6 titles.
The results of a study of the optical properties of a near-surface layer of glass with a thickness of 50 µm, modified with a new matting paste, are presented. The action of the paste is based on the process of surface ion exchange, leading to the formation of a system of microblocks and microcracks. The size distribution function of inhomogeneous scattering centers and partial depolarization of the initial linearly polarized light are considered. A significant difference in the characteristics of light scattering for the modified glass layer from the analogous characteristics of the glass surface, matted by chemical etching with a fluorine-containing composition, is noted. Il. 10, bibliography: 6 titles.
The processes of glass formation in the potassium-lithium-alumino-silicate system have been investigated. The effect of tin oxide on the crystallization properties of glasses of the K 2 O - Li 2 O - Al 2 O 3 - SiO 2 . The comparison of crystallization properties of transparent and damped glasses is carried out. The phase composition of the products of their crystallization has been studied. Il. 4, bibliography: 10 titles.
Borogermanate glasses with a molar content of lanthanide oxides of 25% have been synthesized and investigated. It was found that their glass transition temperature t g is ~ 770 ° C, approximately 200 ° C higher than t g of laser phosphate glasses. In synthesized glasses, a relatively weak clustering of erbium is realized, the optical centers of which are characterized by high uniformity and a large value (86 - 90 nm) of the effective half-width of the luminescence band 4 I 13/2 & # 8594 ; 4 I 15/2 Er 3+ ions. Il. 5, bibliography: 9 titles.
The process of obtaining a color of the "copper ruby" type by thermochemical treatment with copper-containing reagents of thermally polished glass is considered. The data on the influence of the compositions of working solutions and technological modes on the nature of the color and spectral characteristics of glasses are presented. The process of the formation of a diffusion layer and the influence of various factors on the quality of the resulting "copper ruby" are investigated, and practical recommendations are given for choosing the optimal coloring modes. Il. 5, bibliography: 5 titles.
