The influence of the technology for producing basalt fibers on their mechanical characteristics (strength, modulus of elasticity and ultimate deformation) is considered depending on the geometric parameters of monofilaments. Tab. 4, ill. 5, bibliography: 7 titles.
The main types of composite materials for medical purposes are considered. The effect of the compatibility of the components of the compositions and the method of their preparation on the structure and properties of implantation materials has been studied. Highlighted the classical and specific provisions of the development and research of composites for medical purposes such as calcium phosphate - glass. Tab. 6, bibliography: 10 titles.
The mechanism of the process of polymerization of ethyl silicate gels catalyzed by hydrochloric, nitric and orthophosphoric acids has been studied. The influence of the ratio of ethyl silicate: water in hydrolysates on the phase composition and optical properties of the heat-treated powder has been investigated. The synthesis of opal during the heat treatment of ethyl silicate gels is noted, and the mechanism of its formation is proposed. It is shown that the formation of an opal structure in gels retards the crystallization of cristobalite during heat treatment. Il. 3, bibliography: 9 titles.
Based on the regularity of the growth of gas bubbles, crystallization of metals, topochemical reactions of decomposition of solids, the kinetic equation of pore formation during the firing of granules from mineral raw materials is derived. The obtained equations are recommended to be used in mathematical modeling of the process of pore formation of granular foam glass, porous fillers. Bibliography: 7 titles.
The composition of the molding mixture for the manufacture of facing facade ceramics, which includes expanded vermiculite sand, is given. The resulting products are distinguished by a good decorative appearance, increased frost and heat resistance. Bibliography: 1 titles.
The compositions and properties of a new technological lubricant for glass molds and glass-forming machines are presented. Its advantages are shown in comparison with known lubricants based on colloidal-graphite preparations. Tab. 1, ill. 1, bibliography: 1 titles.
Issues related to the design training of students of the South Russian State Technical University are considered, in particular, on the example of teaching students at the Department of Ceramics, Glass and Binder Technology in the specialties "Artistic processing of materials" and "Chemical technology of refractory non-metallic and silicate materials". Il. 1, bibliography: 2 titles.
