Biocomposite materials with a gradient pore structure based on a silicate feldspar matrix and hydroxyapatite are considered. With regard to implants used in neurosurgery, the intervals of porosity and pore size have been determined taking into account the differences in the course of osteogenesis processes on various surfaces. Unlike osteoconductive calcium-phosphate biocomposite materials with a homogeneous pore structure, the gradient pore structure increases the strength of materials by several times. Tab. 3, ill. 6, bibliography: 6 titles.
The process of chemical interaction of components during the production of a glass-forming melt in the Na 2 O - SiO 2 system is considered taking into account surface and volume factors. A kinetic analysis of the process is carried out, a mechanism of interaction of the Na 2 CO 3 melt with solid SiO 2 is proposed. Il. 3, bibliography: 12 titles.
The analytical calculation of the fragmentation of tempered glass, based on the balance principle and the law of grinding of P. Rittenger, has been refined. Il. 2, bibliography: 3 titles.
Based on the analysis of the calculated data, the dependence of the structure connectivity factor on the silicate modulus of glasses of the Na 2 O - SiO 2 system (silicate, boron, alumino and aluminoborosilicate) was established. Nomograms for determining the specified parameters and a forecasting technique are proposed. The expediency of using a silicate module as a structure-determining criterion in the design of glasses for hydrogen microcontainers has been proved. Tab. 1, ill. 4, bibliography: 12 titles.
The influence of the parameters of complex heat treatment on the properties of sheet glass is investigated. On a qualitative and quantitative level, the influence of each parameter on the quenching stresses is assessed. The results obtained are recommended to determine the effect of the hardening temperature, heat transfer coefficient, glass thickness and the duration of intensive cooling on the properties of hardened glass. Il. 4, bibliography: 2 titles.
Mechanisms for drawing glass rods used in the optical industry are considered. Draw mechanisms are classified according to the type of gear used to convert the rotary motion of the actuator into the translational motion of the draw bar. The main reasons leading to the unevenness of the pulling speed and a decrease in the quality of the rods obtained are revealed. Il. 3, bibliography: 2 titles.
The modern methods of glass matting and glass products are considered. The results of research on the matting of high-quality tableware by the method of plasma spraying of copper are presented. Il. 1, bibliography: 13 titles.
The structure of multicomponent sodium borosilicate glasses has been investigated by IR spectroscopy and their physicochemical properties have been determined. It is shown that enamels for the protection of oil country tubular goods can be obtained on the basis of the studied compositions. Tab. 1, ill. 1, bibliography: 3 titles.
The structure coefficients of anions (CSA) of solid solutions synthesized on the basis of stoichiometric compositions with the ratio Li 2 O: Al 2 O 3 : SiO 2 equal to 1: 1: 4-1: 1: 12. It is shown that it is fundamentally possible to select the residual glass phase and predict the sintering process of glass powders based on the calculation of the KSA of the initial compositions and the residual glass phase in the design of glass-crystalline materials with specified properties. Tab. 1, bibliography: 3 titles.
The results of studies on the preparation of porous glass-crystalline materials with a permeable structure by the method of directional crystallization of a complex of phases are presented. The phase composition of materials has been studied using the methods of X-ray phase, X-ray fluorescence and electron microscopic analysis, and the features of their microstructure have been investigated. The prospects of using the synthesized materials as filters for the purification of various media have been established. Tab. 1, ill. 2, bibliography: 4 titles.
